Just can't get enough of the fact that Sharon Bowers wrote in her online diary about her and her friend being unable to contain their bowels as they go walking on the Friendship Trail and using someone's planter to drop a load.
The last thread is getting too long. Sharon is having a hard time scrolling through it on her new wide screen monitor (thanks mole). So here's another thread to start. It's open season, so post to your heart's content about anything to do with that self-described American mental case: "suitably medicated," "kicking and screaming," "I'm mad."
The biggest question of all is how does she justify her diatribes against people from the moral ground she's on.
A question: how much rent did she owe before she left in the middle of the night using a town councillor's SUV?
Another question: what is the name of her psychiatrist(s)?
That is all for now. I'm watching the cable TV broadcast of the meeting Monday. I can't wait for the part she wrote about being told to shut the fuck up. I hope someone is taping it and will post it.

How it that "Dr. Zivago"(sorry bud, the gote and shirt just don't work for you) can spew out slanderous comments( by the way everything you commented about the "darkside" many people agree with, nice work on bringing it out in the open) anyway, Whitfeild gives him what was more of a kiss than a warning, yet when others including the Jan 25 meeting TRIED to speak, he exerted his terrorisim on the people.

And I didn't spew out MY OWN slanderous commentary, I simply reported Sharon's crap. And the reason Whitfield didn't stop me was I didn't cross the line. Berry and others did. I did not directly address any councilor, nor did I engage in anything remotely slanderous. I also, if you are able to read, stated that I found such statements to be false and offensive.
He did not engage in Terrorist acts, he tried to keep order in a situation that as a private citizen I found exceedingly hard to keep quiet myself. The people who were being respectful and voicing their concerns, even if woefully ignorant of reality, were perfectly welcome to speak. The ones that took the opportunity to viciously attack council members and others in the audience were told to smarten up. Simple.

I saw it too and thought what a bunch of hypocrites are those Bay Beach property owners, with their private beaches and fenced in enclave that says NO TRESPASSING. I hope the Canadian dollar goes to $1.50 US and they all sell out and stay home. They love Canada with a 65 cent dollar but when it's par, we're scum. Whoa, everybody. These comments are getting out of hand and this blog is starting to go down the toilet as deep into the sewer as Sharon's.
Canuck sent me some excerpts that haven't been posted yet, and they are getting too far out of line. Even I have been caught up in this and have asked that some of my posts be removed.
The justification for this blog is to provide a forum to counter Sharon's comments and those of her anonymous posters, the cloak over many of them now having been lifted.
Since Sharon was particularly obsessed with me, many of you asked me who she was and I provided the information that I had and other resources.
But you don't have to keep going on and on about every little thing. You will not cure her insanity. All you can do is show it for the benefit of people who might be inclined to read her stuff and who don't know any better.
Conspiracies swirl in Sharon's world. Judging from a lengthy series of emails she wrote to a person posing as someone else, this is awfully serious stuff. Now, whether I can actually believe she wrote them, that's another story, but my hunch is that they are genuine.
The thing that enrages her the most is to show how her representation of the facts is wrong. Her interpretation, her opinion, those are hers and she can spout them all she wants. She has not once in the past two-and-a-half years produced a single shred of evidence to support any disparaging comment that she has published.
Her attacks on private citizens, myself included, people who in no way are accountable to the public in any way, are merely the demented ramblings of someone with a self-admitted mental illness who has nothing else to do. She has few friends to play with, and those she has just get together and fuel each other's anger. They validate each other in their own little bubble, and everybody needs validation. It's unfortunate that her meanderings are published for the world to see and doubly unfortunate for her.
So, everybody, just step back. You have all been insulted and offended. It doesn't matter. The vast, vast majority of people in town have never heard of her nor have read her stuff and would not give what she writes a single iota of credibility if they did.
Let's just get drunk and go curling sometime.
P.S. I have checked with Tim Whitfield. He did receive a note tucked under the windshield of his truck that said something to the effect "You're a dead man." He said he chuckled and chucked the note. So I assume he did not call the cops.
I have to agree with Mike, in that spirit I have sent a comment to the strand to ask some questions. I will post it here so that if she does not post it, so it can be seen by everyone.
Sharon, you are not a depressed person. I have suffered through depression and watched my mother suffer with it my whole life. What you have is something else. I am not a professional so I cannot tell you what it is that you are suffering from. Paranoid delusions are not in any way associated with depression. I agree that more needs to be done to raise awareness of the mental illnesses that plague many people but using the internet to forward on your opinions as facts about what is going on here in crystal beach is really crazy! The truth is, as was stated by the mayor, the entire uplands were to be sold off to developers. PERIOD. That has always been the idea. This council has finally made a positive forward thinking move and none of those in opposition can seem to see that. If the former council had gone ahead right way there might have been all kinds of crap sprouting up all over the beach and there might not have been any access from bay beach. Everyone would be using the Ashwood entrance to access the entire public areas. I have stated many times to anyone who asks me, and the current council, that while I think that the 12 story tower might be too much for me to deal with, if it means all or nothing I take all. The benefits that the public gain way out way the negative. My child never gets to go to the beach. As he gets bigger it gets even harder to take him there. This plan provides a ramp. I have asked for, and the town is looking into a beach mat (for lack of a better word) to allow wheelchair access right to the water. What is the real issue here? I think that it has gotten lost; the town has listened to all the complaints and made assurances that your objections have been taken seriously and each addressed. The beach will remain in public hands forever. Other than the second floor up, the entire south property is to be public access. The toads will benefit from an enhanced habitat. (that won’t be able to be raked by the machine as it is now)Public parking will be enhanced and paid for by the developer. A new beautiful boulevard will be constructed to address traffic concerns. The only thing is the tower. Living in a town means compromise. Not everyone will agree with their neighbor. Why everyone has to be so childish about it is astounding to me. Change will happen. I am sure that when the Halls decided that they were going to build a huge amusement park on their property there was plenty of objection to that but it was theirs to do with as they saw fit. It turned out to be good, until it wasn't. We have a large fully public beach. If the new by-law goes through we will have more public beach that we won’t have to pay for! You claim to be an intelligent person. Take out the emotion and step back and take a look at the big picture. We are tired of being thought of as the armpit of Ft. Erie. Let’s move on!

I think the point is to ignore the insults. If all she has is an insult which basically is just a way to tell us how she (they) feels, who gives a fart? You would never be able to make her happy. I see she is hammering Martha over the concession stand. How come she's not hammering Noise and Stickler, they were pretty loud about renegging on the business deal. Only Martin stood up against the switch, yet he gets no credit from the pie hole for that.

My comments are based on the email from Marcia Carlyn posted on the previous thread.
I am getting tired of these false propaganda statements made by the various opposition groups.
On another blog, I had pointed out to the CARS organization of their innacurate "fact" that there would be 9.51 tonnes of garbage produced every second at the proposed race track. Simply reading that statement, one has to reasonably understand that, that is physically impossible. I had recalculated the information provided and determined that the actual amount was 0.00041 tonnes per second.
Although I had receiced an email from the organization stating that they would make the change to their website, they didn't. Why should they .....people will take it as fact.
Similarly, Marcia Carlyn stated in her email that " over 95% of the public opposed the Bay Beach development project."
That too, by simply reading the statement, one has to question the validity of it.
I had a petition from the FOCB shoved in my face at the Ridgeway Summer Festival, which I declined to sign as did the person who was walking infront of me.
Footnote: I see that the letter from Marcia is addressed to "Dear friends of Bay Beach " as opposed to Friends of Crystal Beach in the past.
So they got 500 names on a petition. How many people refused to sign the petition. Say 2000 .... then I guess I could say that 75% of the public is in favour of the project. But I am too intelligent to make that statement just as it is stupid to say that 95% oppose. Come on really, do they really expect to get away with that propaganda.
Now I have a lot of American friends who are good people, and a lot of Canadian friends who are good people. But I know that that does not reflect the entire population of either countries. And what I have read on these various blogs posted by Americans do not depict them as good people.
Let me make a point loud and clear.
Yes, you do pay taxes. That provides you with water into your house and out, snow plowing, garbage pickup, police protection, to name a few. These are all in relation to to parcel of Canadian land that you own and pay taxes on.
All other public areas of the community are owned by CANADIANS ..... REGISTERED CANADIANS. Your paying property taxes on your parcel of land does not give you any rights to public lands. If you are eligible to vote, you are a CANADIAN citizen, and thereby have a right to voice your opinion.
I think that council has been very receptive to let those who are NON-CANADIAN voice their concerns. I am sure that the same courtesy would not be extended in your country.
To offset the oppositions propaganda in the news,people all over Fort Erie must stand up and be counted.Write letters to the papers as they do.The whole Bay Beach issue is simple.Do you want American Waterfront owners to keep their,excuse me,our waterfront? If you do,stay with the status quo.Reject the towns offer for improvement and more access to the waterfront and continue living under American occupation!Or speak out against it!
