First of all .... let's look at Ms. Poopypants.
She, upon anouncing her new business venture stated: " I look forward to seeing old friends and customers and making lots of new friends and customers."
Did anyone follow her Salvation Army Campaign before Chistmas. I did.
The only reason I bring it up is because it relates to her statement previously quoted. She anticipates so much support from her "friends".
Announcing her Salvation Army Campaign, which is an hounourable organization that was used by an UNhonourable scam artist, she stated: "What a great idea for reclusive people like myself. So, I set one up in the name of the Strand. I'm not sure how it all works, but I've made two small donations and I receive a receipt."
The concusion of the Strand campaign provided the Salvation Army with $6.60 through 2 contributions. Meaning that the only person who participated in the campaign was shit pants herself at 2 contributions at $3.30 each. Gee .... where was her BFF.
In reality, it probably cost the Salvation Army more money to suppoirt the page that she wasted .
But yup .... you are right Trail Pooper .... your "friends" are going to flock to your business.
And to boot ..... she even put up a topic of discussion on the campaign ...... and got zero .... nada ..... nothing .... no comments.

I've lived in Stevesville for the last ten years.Ann-Marie doesn't fully understand the way council works.Every ward gets its due when every councillor becomes subjective and responsive.In any democracy compromises are reached with due diligence.Obstructive behavior only leads to unresponsive councillors that turn their back to any and all needs that arise.Stevensville hasn't been receiving its due because of Ann-Marie.She has been the reason we don't receive equal representation.Dividing council with her diatribes are her specialty.Defeating any chance of progress is the direct result of her personality and it will continue if she is elected as Mayor.The reason I feel residents in Stevensville are neglected is that we don't have Cable tv and residents are not exposed to her antics.Council meetings are not viewed by residents in her ward,if we had Cable tv,her tenure would have been short and sweet.Same goes for Richard Berry.Call them "negative nancys","debbie downers","chatty cathys",just don't call them your representatives!Vote NO in October!
What Stevensville needs is a councillor that understands how a corporation works.A Municipality is a corporate business.Councillors are elected to represent the needs of its share-holders(residents).Checks and balances,income and expenses,are the same as expenditures and tax revenue.Ann-Marie Noyes couldn't make it in the corporate world.Being the director of the Finance Commitee for the Corporation of the Town of Fort Erie is not her strong suit.Being Mayor or top executive would be a disaster.Playing monopoly with are lives would also be a disaster.End of story!P.S.I hope in the near future eveyone in Greater Fort Erie receives Cable T.V.,at least for comic relief on Monday nights!

As a former employee at the track,it is not uncommon for Mayors and councillors attending complimentary functions.To my knowledge anyone not on the guest list would have to pay for their meals and beverages.I have no recollection of anyone "dining and dashing",especially a public figure.I guess there is always a first.
I still want to know what happened to the money that I forked out for a couple of stupid signs went to.

There will be alot of "firsts" when and if Noyes becomes Mayor.She ultimately will be the first Mayor to rub Fort Erie completely off the map,for at least four years anyway.Could you imagine her representing us in front of Regional Council? The question here is why didn't Noyes get an invite? She is a councillor and deserves to be treated with respect and invited along with the rest of them on such a big day as all councillors are always invited to major events going on in town. I am sure she thought it was just an oversight and it didn't dawn on her there was an issue as there never has been in the past and there should not have been now.
Nobody ever has to explain why Noyes was not invited. Being councillor does not entitle anyone to be invited to anything. The real question is why did she show such a total lack of class. How would she feel about someone who crashed her fundraising steak dinner last Sunday.
For crying out loud, we own that track and we've taken a big risk to save it, and the first thing she does is strap on the feed bag for a free lunch. Dear Ann-Marie Noyes, you owe the taxpayers of Fort Erie $25 bucks, plus the booze tab. Take that to church and sing about it.
