Sharon Bowers is buying food items in Buffalo stores, illegally importing them and selling them at her restaurant, the Fire House Grill, or Chubbies, or whatever joint on Erie Road is called this week.
She often uses American mules to bring the stuff over under the guise of stocking up for Beach holidays. Not only does she get a break on the cost but she's also evading the HST.
WTF America???!??!?!?!?

Ok, this IS going to sound Anti-American, but it's not. Not exactly. I love
a number of American citizens, and I'm sure they're not this warped.

Isn't Papadakis running for elected office? He can now add smuggling to his list of credentials along with tax evasion, home foreclosure
and last but not least mortgaging a property that wasn't his. Sounds like a likely candidate for prison not town council. Maybe Bowers could be charged with conspiracy to commit stupidy and be deported? lol
Surely what you say cannot be true !!
The Editor wrote on page four of her faux newspaper:
"The Fire House Grill, a
restaurant I've become involved in, will be open and running by June 1. We had hoped to be open by this
weekend, but the flu and other snags delayed us. The name was chosen to give a shout-out to family members
and those who serve as emergency personnel. The decor will feature a lot of fire department memorabilia and
will include some firehouse tested recipes along with the usual beach fare. Stoney Creek Ice Cream will be
offered as well as products from local providers. We are committed to shop locally as much as possible while
maintaining the highest quality available. We will also feature original, authentic Greek favourites along
with breakfast and some Canadian (real poutine) and American stand-bys. We have put a lot of thought into
our menu and decor. I hope those who enjoyed the food offered when I operated "Sub World" many years ago
will return."
If John Papadakis doesn't get prison time for smuggling he should get it for FRAUD.
As per the Strand blog topic titled Crystal Beach Rocks and posted on Monday, August 2, 2010, the Editor states: "The Fire House Grill name was chosen because John Papdakis heads up a registered charity called CEPA (Canadian Emergency Preparedness Association) and he is very concerned about informing people of the need to prepare for power outages and natural disasters."
I seached the internet extensively and could find only one reference to the Canadian Emergency Preparedness Association.
This is the link: http://www.cra-arc.gc.ca/ebci/haip/srch/advancedsearchresult-eng.action?n=Canadian+Emergency+Preparedness+Association&b=&q=&s=revoked&d=&e=+&c=&v=+&o=&z=&g=+&t=+&y=+&p=1
You will note that it is a Canadian Government site.
And, the following is the text from the site:
Charity Name: Canadian Emergency Preparedness Association
BN/Registration Number:
Charity Status: Canadian Revoked Charities
Effective Date of Status (yyyy/mm/dd):
Sanction:
City:
Province/Territory/Other:
Country:
Postal Code/Zip Code:
Designation:
Charity Type: All
Category: All
You will notice that the status is "CANADIAN REVOKED CHARITIES"
Following the Sanction link on the site reveals that the reason for the charity being revoked is "A financial penalty or a suspension of the charity's ability to issue official donation receipts and of its status as a qualified donee."
I cannot see how another charity can be registered under the same name if one already exsists.
So, there are 2 possibilities.
1. John Papadakis does indeed head up the REVOKED charity which does not account for it's financial activity.
OR
2. It is just another one of the Editor's and John Papadakis' lies, trying to make him look better than the loser he is.
If you've got no honourable credentials, then you make them up.
If John does indeed head up this charity and it is still soliciting money, as charities do, and it's registration has been revoked for the reasons stated above, this issue should be investigated and appropriate charges be laid and jail time served.
I know it's a free country but shouldn't there be some kind of test or evaluation taken by everyone who wants to run for elected office? It would save alot of time and money in the long run.
Kind of like a Health Inspection Report received by The Firehouse Grill aka Chubbies. John Papaddakis, you are NOT IN COMPLIANCE!
So, you are sure that Bowers is smuggling hot dogs from Buffalo?I guess she would be joined by bernie and a lot of other restaurants who bring hot dogs from Buffalo. We do all the time. They are the best hot dogs. Last time we brought some over, we were asked if we made any purchases in the US and we said we got some Sahlins. The customs guy said "where at Tops?" Yes, I said and they were on sale! Good, he said and let us through. It happens all the time. We buy our Thanksgiving turkey there too. Its not smuggling if you declare them.
Check out Bowers Blog. She's insisting that the new candidates for councill are hand picked by the Molinaros. I wonder want drugs she's on lately? I didn't know lithium had so many side effects!
Maybe, just maybe, people that run for elected positions are hard working, well mannered, volunteer-minded individuals that want to be able to give something back to society. You know the types, people without axes to grind or without serious mental issues. Attributes that Bowers and her stable of candidates can't aspire to.
The Bay Beach plan is just one issue that is being dealt with in the courts. There are plenty of other issues that the future councill will have to ponder. I hope they don't dwell on those new issues as much as they have on pathetic little Crystal Beach. In fact we should ask for our 2.5 million back and spend it on improving the rest of town.
FYI, John, Sharon and Bernie, Buying "Sahlen hot dogs" at Tops in Buffalo and declaring them at the border is not illegal.
Buying "Sahlen hot dogs" at Tops and smuggling them OR importing them for RE-SALE without an Importers License is VERY ILLEGAL! You must declare your goods at the Commercial Customs Inspection Area, have it inspected by Commercial Inspection Agents and fill out forms for both duty and import fees. In other words, follow the transport trucks, get in line, it would also help if you had a customs broker, lol, and wait for your turn, little boys and girls!
Call your local Customs office for details! lol
Food imported from the US for the purpose of re-selling to the public is a real serious issue! In the meantime keep trying to cover up your tracks, we're all watching very closely! lol
PS Do you like yours with mustard?
I just read The Crystal Beach Strand Blog. The editor of this web-site suggests that she is too busy in her new business venture near the beach to update her status. If this business person is so busy, why doesn't she hire someone to help her? Hiring a couple of employees might be a solution. I wonder if she is too busy or can't afford to hire anyone? As a resident of that immediate area, I can tell you that the parking lots are full of cars on most days, but no one seems to be eating at "Chubbies" or whatever she calls it, informally. I guess she is too busy to get a new sign made also. I sorry if I'm always so curious..
Ann-Marie Noyes attended another event that she doesn't support! Time and time again she rejected funding for a cause but attends their celebrations yet again. The Communities in Bloom Awards were handed out last Friday night at the Leisureplex and she showed up to draw support for her campaign.
Is she for real?
This recent post doesn't surprise me at all. Ann-Marie Noyes shows up in places she not welcome on a regular basis. She acts like she supports every cause in Fort Erie but at the same time she turns down funding on them continually. She easily forgets that the slot revenues created by the race track kept taxes down for many years. She also forgot that she didn't think it was proper to use these same funds to help keep the track open. What better use could have been found for this fund? Didnt the track deserve some support? Wouldn't it help keep revenue streams open for all of us? Maybe she just thinks about her own property tax situation and wishes to use slot revenues to continue off-setting her tax increases? Hmmm
Alot has been said about Ann-Marie Noyes on this blog. The Crystal Beach Strand, the alternate blog supports this candidate for Mayor. Although, I do search out information and seek the truth. The Towns web-site has allowed me to review minutes of past council meetings, and watching meetings on TV on Wednesday nights has enabled me to create an opinion on her as well. I don't like what I have found out about her. She doesn't represent my ward well and doesn't represent the rest of Fort Erie well either.
As for Doug Martin, I feel the same way. I don't like his views, especially on Crystal Beach. He has not listened to anyone about it and will not get my support for re-election! There is no dilemma here, I WILL LEAVE THE BALLOT FOR MAYOR EMPTY! NO VOTE FOR NOYES, NO VOTE FOR MARTIN!!!!! EMPTY!!!! Unless someone else would like to run? I'll consider anyone but these two!!!!!
Has anyone seen the make shift campground in Bay Beach? Weekends are filled with over night guests with mini-vans and cars full of families staying in parking lots for days in our town. I haven't seen this sad site before. Isn't it wrong for people to live in their vehicles? Don't these people know that there is a proper camp ground not far from the beach?
Piles of garbage from their picnicing is left behind and no one on The Strand Blog is complaining? Come on now people! Is that we mean about busy tourist hot spots? Give me a break!
If Richard Berry had any balls, he would run for mayor.
I too was thinking along the same lines. I don't like either candidate for Mayor. If no one else win run, I too will leave the ballot for Mayor, blank. My husband feels the same way! As for Richard Berry as Mayor, thanks but no thanks!
Richard Berry for mayor ..... now that's just silly talk .....lol
Today's rediculous write up on the Strand includes a statement from the Editor which states: "In a recent poll conducted in Kingston, ON, an overwhelming 68% of respondents called for the dissolution of the Kingston Economic
Development Corporation."
This is the type of crap that the Strand, the Fort Erie Waterfront Preservation Association and the opponents to the Bay Beach Development base their data on.
The City of Kingston Ontario has a population of 117,207. The poll consisted of 25 respondents.
That relates to 0.000213 of the population. But that forum and the Editor prefer to promote it as a concensus of the entite population.
We all know that these so-called polls are active for 1 maybe 2 days at best. When presented on a forum, or blog that is supported by the opponents to a situation, they spread the word, post as many opposition votes as they can then the poll is closed.
That particular blog requires that you be a "registered" member of the forum to vote.
But, unfortunately, there are people out there who buy this bullshit and consider it to be factual.
And even worse, there are political candidates that buy into it as well.
So here is data that you can use ..... of the 16 current registered candidates running for council or mayor, 6 are using data supplied through this type of mentality in their campaign.
To those that like percentages, that relates to 37.5% of the registered candidates are idiots that have no concept of what reality is.
The Silence of the Toads has changed it's format to invite realistic, mature discussion of the candidates that have registered for the 2010 Fort Erie Municipal Elections.
http://thesilenceofthetoads.blogspot.com/
The comical strand blog continues its charade with the FOCB leading the way. Once again the end of summer parade rocks on, as Bowers puts it. I'm still baffled by the parade route. Winding through streets that are void of any business activity. Derby road has been vacant since the amusement park closed but these proud members choose to parade through it. It's quite disturbing but quite appropriate at the same time. Long live crippled creek!?!?!The FOCB and Bowers have alot to be proud of. Maybe Marcia Carlyn should be in a convertable car and wave to her fans. "Keep Crystal Beach desolute"! should be their call!?!?!? "Phil Smith should also have his own chariot and call out. "Anyone want to rent a musty, mouldy cottage for a week or two!How about some wings with your black mould cough, and you can park at my,excuse me, at the municipal parking lot behind the Ontario hospital, excuse me, hotel!" The guy from Spangle who is so dead against a condo at Bay Beach could also pipe in, "Anyone want to buy a busy",(lol)"restaurant? I've lost my shirt, excuse me, I've changed my mind about the condos, excuse me, I've gota great opportunity for ya!".
And the beat goes on..........LOL
The only thing about the parade is that Bowers wants to get in front of it and pretend it's her idea.
"YES WE ARE OPEN"
Who would put up such a sign on their business window.
Looks to me like a desperate sign of destitution.
Certainly it couldn't be a business that proclaims, quote: "Due to the great success of our business venture ....."
Certainly not the Firehouse Grill ( with the garbage dump scowered table and chairs in the front).
Certainly it can't be Chubbies, or Chubbies - Firehouse Grill, 'cause such a place cannot exsist as it is ILLEGAL to license your business in one name, and operate under another name.
Or could it be ...... ROFLMFAO.
The beach was DEAD today. Tomorrow it is supposed to rain all day.
Two more weeks to get the funds to support the business through winter.
This is soooo rich.
I'm glad it didn't rain much this summer! It proves that no matter how hot or how sunny it is in Crystal Beach, there isn't enough time to make a living! Wouldn't it be nice to see continual business throughout the year and maybe adding a sprinkle of summer business as an added bonus? I'm sure Kassay's pictures don't tell the real story. I wonder how many picnicers asked to use the washroom at Chubbies across from their "tent city" and didn't want anything to eat? After all they came fully equipped with hibachis, coolers and beach chairs.
I wonder who will be back next summer? Chubbies? Will they finally get a new sign and try it again? It's one thing to brag about being busy and another to suffer through another failed season. Spangle? Their place is for sale and their MLS listing promises the NEXT VICTIM that better days are ahead or the Best Portugese Chicken? They've already conceded defeat. Those are only afew I have witnessed, there will be more as always. Unfortunately that is the reallity of the Crystal Beach. A cycle of failed businesses and a small group of residents that can't support these businesses to prove they're wrong about changing the course of their future. It's really sad to know that what they are rejecting is what can save them. It's really sad!
I sorta feel some empathy for the Editor. She appears once again to have gone off the deep end.
Her posts of August 22, 2010 10:47 AM, and August 22, 2010 11:03 AM reflect a person of a totally unstable state.
She blows off about "Oh, and they don't like Americans either. Want us to all go away and STFU". First of all, what is STFU and where on any blogs has there been any mention recently about Americans?
I really must check tonight to see if there is a full moon.
Oh and her Highlghted comment about the racetrack ( ie: " We've seen millions spent to prop up a GAMBLING FACILITY while local businesses, social services, job creating initiatives get NOTHING. ")
Well I suspect that comes from my post, which presents the TRUTH and actual published references to substantial them which she REJECTED.
The REJECTED post is:

This STUPID Editor doesn't even realize that NO-ONE is even supporting her LIES any more.
The only posts on her current blog are questioning her comments or from herself. ( and having said that, I suspect that the will be an influx of "anonymous" posts supporting the blog written by non other than ..... the Editor ..... as that is her style ..... right Sharon)
And ..... her spell check is all messed up again.
There is no right, there is no wrong, only data to be manipulated. From Don Henleys Garden of Allah. But very fitting for the people in the beach that will tell you how bad the deal for the condo is.
I know this is somewhat off topic, but I would like to expand on a comment that a previous poster had made on another thread on this blog.
A comment was made that Councillor Ann Marie Noyes was the leak that was providing information regardin town hall activities to persons that are in opposition to town hall.
As I was searching out published announcements for candidacy to initiate discussion on the Silence of the Toads blog, I came accross this article in the Fort Erie Times which reads:
"E-mail sparks heated debate between two councillors
Posted By Kris Dubé
Posted 2 years ago
It was rather clear at Monday’s council meeting that one councillor had a bone to pick with one of his colleagues.
During the member enquiries portion of the meeting, Ward 1 Coun. Sandy Annunziata brought an e-mail sent by Ward 3 Coun. Bob Steckley to the attention of everyone in attendance.
Annunziata claimed that in the message sent to an unnamed party, that Steckley referred to council’s decision at June 9th’s council-in-committee meeting as being “idiotic” and “nonsense.”
Annunziata feels the e-mail was uncalled for and that it was directed at the not just him but all five members of council who did not vote against seeking a private investor for development at Bay Beach, who was everyone but Steckley and Ward 6 Coun. Anne-Marie Noyes.
“I’m assuming in generality everyone in here made idiotic statements,” said Annunziata.
Steckley responded by saying that he didn’t name anyone specifically in the e-mail, or after Annunziata brought the issue to the table because he didn’t want to “embarrass” anyone.
“If you want me to start dragging this out into the open and asking me to start naming names…I don’t think you want me to do that,” said Steckley.
Annunziata doesn’t feel denouncing a decision approved by council to an outside party was appropriate in any way. He told Steckley he should be responsible for his actions and apologize to the rest of council and Town staff.
“This e-mail is inflammatory and inaccurate, and you should be accountable for it,” said Annunziata.
Steckley didn’t attempt to deny his actions, and didn’t seem like his feelings had changed at all since sending the electronic message. He doesn’t agree with the decision made by council, and he’s sticking to that.
“You feel you made the right decision last week, I feel you didn’t,” said Steckley.
He also assured Annunziata that he would not be getting the apology he requested as a result of the controversial e- mail.
“If you want an apology, you won’t be getting that from me,” said Steckley"
So I would just like to add Councillor Steckley's name to the list of untrustworthy councillors.
I know this may be old news to some, but I had just come accross it.
Did you happen to look at the MLS
listing for Spangles .It shows a new devlopment coming as a selling point.

What is the link for the MLS listings?
If you're curious....Check out mls.ca and go to mls online. Then click commercial listings. The mls listing number for Spangle is 20128621. It states that it's a successful eatery near high end gated community and several more residential developments have been approved by the Town of Fort Erie including one next door.... Well, why are they selling? Are they retiring so soon? I thought they were against condos? It seems that they want to get the heck out of town before business picks up! lol
Here is a local campaign blog
for those of you that are interested.
http://themcdermottfactor.blogspot.com
I guess it's true! Every time there is a full moon, Sharon Bowers froths from the mouth! Her latest tirade resulted in more insults, more misinformation and more contempt for elected officials. It's no wonder she can't get a job or succeed in her little business ventures.... Fast forward to Memorial Day weekend 2011...
Chubbies has a new tenant, and it's not Ms. Poopy Pants!!!!
I thought it was me but I guess I'm not the only one that doesn't get a chance to respond on The Strand Blog.
I often get rejected, but I understand that any rebuttle to her majesty's opinion is wrong and shouldn't be observed by anyone but her.
I guess I'll start using this blog to express myself.
Is it me or do others feel that The Bay Beach issue has been clouded by misdirected information and outright nonesense?
Tim Haggerty, a new candidate for council was quoted in The Post as saying that the proposed development would hinder the view of the waterfront. What view? How many times have locals been stopped by tourists looking for the beach? I, myself over the years have been asked at least once a week! These lost and confused beach seekers were under the impression that they would drive past it somewhere, sometime.
Which Crystal Beach are these would be councillors referring to?
How's lost and confused? Tim, Don, John,Ann-Marie or Bob or all them?
Bowers lost 30 pounds,so thats where the meat for the hot dogs came from !!!!. The good news is she still has plenty more where that came from.
Chubbies is closed once again!!!!! There we go again! Where else does this happen? The cycle of failure continues in Crystal Beach!
It was such a success that it closed? Come on, who is going to believe that! NO BUSINESS CLOSES BECAUSE IT'S TOO BUSY!!!! Sharon Bowers is a deceitful, disturbed individual. Another failure to add to her many defeats in life. Unfortunately, now we must endure more of her distorted logic and misconceptions!
Are you ready for her now? You know that she's brewing something in her witch pot. She's too wicked to let this one go!
I dunno, I think my computor has a virus.
I am trying to make sense of this Firehouse Griddle thing.
Let's see. The place was open for what ..... 45 days. And Sharon claims it to have been a resounding success.
The only success that I can see was that it acclaimed the title of the Shortest running business in Crystal Beach history.
Oh, but I forgot, they are going to teach everybody else how to run a business.
Come on, when you rent, you pay first and last months rent. Even that covers 60 days.
No outstanding bills Sharon ..... you still have the government to deal with.
The only consilation is that the investors can write off their bad judgement as a investment loss on their U.S. tax returns.
Oh, and yeah, those food purchses in the states. Can't claim them, or shouldn't 'cause you will be admitting to a federal crime.
Books won't balance, failed business ..... all because of a BIG MOUTH, FRIENDSHIP TRAIL DEFICATING, MULTIPLE TIME LOSER.
Sorry about your luck Marcia.
Sharon Bowers is really twisted! She acknowledges closing her business but doesn't admit defeat. She instead calls it "retiring". She actually worked for a couple of months in her "new" business venture. She was going to enlighten us with her business savvy. Hire cooks and counter people to help her.Set the world on fire and so on. What happened? We in the real world work for decades before "retiring".
Anyone know what the editor of the strand blog's secret for success?
You know, I'm pretty much fed up with this Fat Assed, Friendship Trail Shitter, Sharon Bowers.
Her most recent post towards me was " What was the award for, anyways? Best example of boot licking by a local wannabe?"
This after I had posted "I chose to ignore the boundries of countries, and teach, tutour, participate in a venue I am proficient in."
You know folks, this whole dialogue with her is a waste of our time.
She is rude, beligerant, ignorant, and posts nothing of value.
Have you noticed recently that no one, I mean no one supports her, except LOSER TRG ( bad campaign promotion).
She even slams associates in her failed business:
" The lesson in all this: never start a business to provide a relative with a job. Let them get their own job."
"Papadakis was the registered owner - at his insistence."
She uses people, then turns her back on them and tosses them aside.
Where is her BFF Helen today?
What say you ..... write this whole thing off as a waste of our time.
Ignore the Strand as her supporters have done, and enjoy OUR country ...... CANADA.
I told you that they'd be back biting.
Funny thing is, we didn't start it!
But it is sooooo much fun! LOL
Bring on another self righteous, trail blazer! This one has had enough!!!!! Bye bye Bowers!!!!!!
Thre Freakin' Bitch refuses my post then accepts one full of freakin' lies because it conforms with her opinion.

Refused post:
Are you for real Editor ????
What drugs are you on????
First of all, your response to the previous poster "Those people whom you are alluding to that "have no right to bitch" may have voted in the last election. You don't know whether they did or not."
Did the poster not say " 70% of those who could don't bother to vote. They are the unthinking sheep who don't care. They have no right to bitch "
CLEARLY, the poster states that his/her comments were directed to those that did not vote, then you stupidly reply that maybe they did vote ..... can't you freaking read !!!!!
Now, for MY response to your stupid comments.
WHO THE HELL ARE YOU to think that you can tell what other people think with respect to their voting decisions????
My experience has been that people who make such comments are infact the ones who surround themselves with the exact same situations that you accuse us as doing.
What you posted is nothing more than your opinion, and you are dead wrong.
Yes, I can appreciate, as does everyone, that voter attendance is low, so you ain't told us nothing new. But to tell us that WE vote by convenience is an utter fantasy born in your own mind. You have NOTHING to substantiate your opinion that WE vote "based on the flimsiest of reasons"
Who the hell do you think you are?
Where you are eligible to vote, it is my OPINION, that the first and foremost factor in a candidate's platform is his/her political affiliation.
Every electoral candidate in th U.S. states his/her political affiliation. And Americans determine their political party affiliations based on the parents, and grandparents preferences.
It doesn't matter if the candidate for sheriff has a previous drug conviction, he is a Democrate and there is no way in hell that I am going to vote for the Republican candidate.
Don't you dare ..... DON'T YOU FREAKIN' DARE SHARON, tell US how we arrive at our decision for a suitable candidate.
We read, we talk, we observe our candidates and through the information absorbed, we vote.
We don't vote because of political party affiliations, because at OUR municipal level, there is none.

And ANOTHER refused post which exactly about these rejections:
You hypocrite !!!
You say: "To them, I say, "Canada, like the United States from whence I came, is a land of free
speech and the right to speak on an issue is guaranteed in the Charter of Rights." "
You know damn well that YOU are the BIGGEST abuser of free speech. Even to the point that you say you take a great deal of pleasure in rejecting posts.

What a freakin' loser she is .......
While "strolling" through the internet, I happened upon the LinkedIn site.
It's supposed to be a site where you list your legitimate career accomplishments as to entice a future employer.
So, who's on there? Non other than Sharon Bowers, who lists herself as an "Independent Writing and Editing Professional". That implies that she has gotten paid for the crap she writes. I don't think so.
Then you look at persons who have viewed her page and guess who's there.
Give up?
None other than John Papadakis, who lists himself as "Owner at JOHN PAPADAKIS CORPORATION" and "OWNER at PAPADAKIS LEGAL SERVICES"
Isn't he just a paralegal ..... another name for a glorified legal secretary.
Funny, he didn't list his business accomplishments as part of his write up in the newspaper when he announced he was running.
Or could this just be another one of his LIES. Great candidate, EH?
To the poster on the Strand blog of September 9, 2010 12:09 PM, here is my response to your post, as you have referred to the Stranded blog in your post, I suspect that you will read this.
The Editor has LONG enjoyed the pleasures of accepting post which only support her agenda.
My REJECTED post states ONLY those comments which have been previously published in newsprint, or on the internet. They are not my opinion, but actual FACTS .... can you understand that. These concerns are published facts about Mr. Papadakis.

POST REJECTED BY THE STRAND. Why, because it is the TRUTH and the Editor does not want you to know the TRUTH.
" would like very much to respond to the poster of September 9, 2010 12:09 PM, but as per the status quo of this blog, my post will likely not be accepted.
That is why I find it NECESSARY to post on the Stranded ..... so my opinion will NOT be censored.
To the poster of September 9, 2010 12:09 PM:
It is not a matter of "fear" of Mr. Papadakis, but rather a concern about his integrity.
I made the post questioning his reported business' that he posted on LinkedIn.
To date, he has posted, or posts through the Editor, or article about him have revealed:
1. He heads up a charity organization, that through Revenue Canada is listed as a "Revoked Charity"
2. On Linkedin, he portrays himself as someone who owns a business in the legal profession.
3. He has previously been reported as promoting that paralegals ( of which he is one) be hired by the Town of Fort Erie to address the outstanding traffic violations. That, if elected is an extreme case of conflict of interest.
4. His platform addresses at cut back in staffing at town hall, but he has suggested that each councillor be provided with a secretary.
Who is this lame candidate? Someone who as his initiation into politics, ran for mayor and got his butt beat. Now is on an "encouraged" campaign to seek a council seat.
No we are not "afraid" of Mr. Papadakis in the term that you imply as him being a threat. We are afraid that if he were to win the seat, he would be the MOST incompetent, self serving, councillor that Fort Erie has ever seen.
I am NOT a town asskisser ( a term that the Editor likes to use very frequently ..... makes you wonder doesn't it?), but rather a legitimate resident of Fort Erie voicing my opinion and my knowledge. I take elections seriously, and take every opportunity to learn as much as I can about the candidates as I can. The internet provides a wealth of information. Mr. Papadakis is running in my ward, and I will NOT vote for him. I do not trust him."
