I wonder, what is "reasonable effort to ensure that the information displayed on this website is accurate and responsible"? Could it be sticking her finger up her ass to find out if it smells like news?

I, Sharon Bowers, am a complete shitball. I am a malingering and malignant turd. I do this blog as therapy. My therapy is to try to make people feel bad so that I don't feel so much worse. I am a pathological liar, a thief and a carpet bagger. I am a miserable soul. Anyone who has dealt with me has paid for it. I stab people in the back and blame them for showing me their back. Sounds like she's on the run...
I doubt very much that she got an email purporting to be from a lawyer. The Libel and Slander Act is pretty clear that a notice would have to be given in person to the person responsible or to a responsible adult at the place of business. Maybe she did get an email seeking a retraction with the threat of legal action if she didn't comply, but the sender would have no guarantee that she received it. A registered letter might suffice in that regard, but what is her address? She has denied that she lives at 311 Bertie Place as indicated in her domain registry, and she's not in the phone book, she doesn't own property, doesn't list an address.
Since she is an inveterate liar, I'd say it's all bullshit, and her statement is simply another attempt to discredit someone.
Maybe she did get an email. It's probably a hoax on the order of the "proof of bugging." And it was likely perpetrated by one of her friends, or maybe from someone who wants to rattle her.
Any complaint against Sharon Bowers should be effected like a military operation -- without mercy, compassion or remorse.
People have been attacked by Sharon Bowers. They should amass their forces, counter with everything they've got, lay down unrelenting fire, and when defences have been breached, pursue until there is full and complete capitulation.
There should be no threats, no chest beating, no bullshit.
Just make your demands and force compliance.
She does live at 311 Bertie but it is an apartment abouve the garage and if it is a legal appartment then it has to have a seperate address, but it is 311 Bertie Street

I have seen the slander that was posted on that other blog. Have you contacted the police? These people are sick and twisted. They might make someone do something stupid.You must be a real threat to them. Be careful.
So, let me get this straight, she creates community groups to oppose the development of lands in Crystal Beach, that she does not own, then posts news about those groups on her blog as if they are arms length 3rd party groups??
Then she posts legal disclaimers to insinuate that any information derived from those 3rd party sources may or may not be true, and she's not liable for any inconsistencies in the information??
Apparently so. I guess we need more than "university-level logic" to figure this out.
I think you just need "in the sewer" logic to figure her out.
