Bowerism

Unablogger chastised an anonymous poster yesterday for bad spelling in this sentence; "The only source of knoeledge is experience (Albert Einstein). When it comes to community planning you have neither."

Her response: "I do, however, know how to use Spell Check."

Very good rejoinder, don't you think?

Today she wrote: "Passero also ran unsuccessfully for Ward 1 councillor in 2006 and is rumoured too be seeking public office in this year's upcoming election. " Hahaha "TOO".

"Knoeledge" is a typo since the W and the E are so close together on the keyboard. TOO is just intellectual dwarfism, don't you think, Editor?

What Enquiring Minds Want To Know

I want to know if Sharon Bowers is going to dress up like Uncle Sam and waddle around the library to drum up opposition to the Molinaro deal like she did to get Hilary Clinton elected.

Invoking Nazis . . . AGAIN

UnaBlogger is really rabid today saying the mayor's quotations are inspired by Nazi propaganda principles.

Just like Joseph Goebbels said, “If you tell a lie big enough and keep repeating it, people will eventually come to believe it."

Something like "They're giving away the beach!"

Sharon Bowers easily by far is the high priestess of lying in this town. Or is it laying? Sharon Bowers is the biggest layer in town. The biggest and thickest layer of the most septic bile in town.

Here's a (sic) for you, straight from today's post: "How can a twelve condo (sic) tower keep the "cottage-type atmosphere" intact?"

Someone should write a book.

The Tale of the Video

At long last I was able to find the Cogeco story from the Bay Beach open house. Sure enough, there's Vince Molinaro...and behold, he did NOT say anything about having worked with the town planner Mostacci as Sharon stated he had on the Yellowpike's blog.

"At the recent Open House, on camera, Vince Molinaro reportedly stated that He and Mostacci had worked on a project in Stoney Creek. Since a local woman was threatened with a lawsuit for writing something similar to that in a Letter to the Editor. She has since been forced to write a retraction. Mostacci has threaened me with a lawsuit and demnded retractions from at least two newspaper, saying he was misquoted regarding statements he made," Sharon Bowers wrote on Jan. 17.

TV Cogeco begs to differ about what Molinaro said.

Watch her defend herself by referring to "reportedly stated."

The question of course is, what reasonable effort did Sharon take to ensure what was "reportedly" reported to her. Was she there? I saw Ann-Marie Noyes running into the shot, but not Sharon. Did she watch the show? She's got cable and absolutely nothing else to do all day.

Or, did she present as fact a fiction of her own imagination in order to bring someone into disrepute?
